The Canadian Battery Association was established in 1970 by the manufacturers of lead-acid batteries. The Mission Statement for the CBA is to promote and further the best interests of it's members and industry. The CBA consists of members in the Automotive, Standby and Motive Power sectors.
Through CBA sub-committees, the association promotes, researches, studies, analyzes, and through briefs and submissions states the views of its members to the Consumer, Customers, and to departments of the Federal, Provincial and Municipal government.
The CBA also collects and analyzes technical and statistical data for its members and in addition, enhances the knowledge base of the members information forums and seminars.
